Could you give more information, such as:

1. Does the problem only occur in Safari and not in other browsers (Firefox etc.))
2. Have you installed any PDF related extensions in the Safari (Safari menu>Preferences>Extensions)?

It might be a bug in the PDFKit itself but its hard to say with so little information...

Just wondering...
How are you creating the pdf's?
Are you using the "export to pdf" menu option?

If the answer is yes, try an alternative approach:
1. Once the pdf is loaded in Safari (but not yet saved)
2. Click "print" (instead of export to pdf)
3. At the bottom of the print window, there's a "pdf" button popup
4. Try the "save as pdf" option.

Does this work?
(no promises, just something to try)

I'm embarrassed to say that it was only a corrupted Adobe Reader app.... but, of course, no matter where I created a file (Safari, Apple Widget, etc.) it appeared to be corrupted when attempting to open with Adobe Reader.

Sorry to take your time, but at least I'm now a happy camper. Thanks!!!
