what are RAM KITS vs RAM?

Hey guys (and gals)...I'm looking at ramseeker.com for RAM for my 8 core mac pro. The listings for RAM KITS are cheaper than for the category of just RAM.

What does this mean?

A ram kit means its matched, so you get a small performance boost as it is dual-channel capable.
