What are some gems of the Internet?

Excluding mainstream websites like Google or Wikipedia, what are some highly useful and free websites out there?

I would vote for Mint.com, a personal finance tracker and budgeting service. It's just really nice to see a complete financial snapshot of your life and see where money is going in and out. The site also offers advice on where you can save money.

The SCP Foundation. Anytime I find myself without anything to do, I'll inevitably hit it up.

Like with any user generated site on the internet, you tend to run across more mediocre entries than you do truly great ones (though rarely ever any starkly terrible ones, since the community does a decent job of separating the wheat from the chaff), it's those rare few gems that make the site worth visiting.

Here's a gem. A guy knows his wife is cheating on him, but she's unaware. He's acting like nothing happened and he hired a private investigator to give updates. He's posting the updates live on reddit.
