What are some good alternatives to the Apple Thunderbolt Display?

Hi. I'm looking for some good alternatives for the Thunderbolt display. 1000$ is too heavy of a price considering that the Thunderbolt display was released several years ago.

Having USB ports would be a big bonus, along with speakers. Also, a good resolution is a must. 24'' - 27''!
