I don't buy many... they tend to not get watched over and over. I find buying DVDs a poor investment. There aren't many films and TV shows good enough to withstand watching more than a couple of times. I tend to buy stuff that I can get enjoyment from the performances after the lines are old and worn.
• Seinfeld boxed set, first seven seasons... I think.
• Twin Peaks, of course.
• Six Feet Under, first couple of seasons
• Frasier, seasons 1-4
• Cheers, seasons 1&2
• Simpsons, series 2-5
I would like the Sopranos box set and although I've never seen The Wire, it sounds like my kinda thing along with Battlestar Galactica.
Another boxed set I would snap up in an instant, if it ever existed, is the complete Larry Sanders Show.

That's about it, I want to fill out the FG and SP collection but haven't bothered to yet. I think I've received most, if not all of these as gifts as I normally don't buy TV shows, I just record reruns or get them from Netflix. But supposedly, South Park Season 12 is coming out in March on Blu Ray, I'm making sure to buy that one on release day since HD kicks ass

iTunes is sure a slick way of adding movies to your library.

Would consider getting all the seasons for Dexter, House, Lost and Heroes, but they are too expensive right now.
Only Peep Show (1-5) and Black Books (1-3) that I can think of. I really want to get my hands on some Spooks box sets, but they all seem to be ridiculously expensive.
