Can you list some that you've personally done?

Helping in an animal rescue centre.
There is always work that needs doing and even a day a week is better than none.
You do need to be an animal lover, and ensure 'best practice' is being carried out at all time.

I've volunteered to cook at the local Ronald McDonald house a few times. It's fun (I like to cook) and rewarding, and you can spend an entire day or even just a single meal working there.

Pregnancy center, local food bank, homeless shelter, Boys & Girls Club, local mission, Red Cross, community nursing home, local school district, picking up trash at local parks, adopt a highway program, local clothing donation center, anything related to foster care, etc.

- Marathon/Charity Walks
- Soup Kitchens, Food Banks
- Park and Community Clean Ups
- Red Cross (have a lot if you register)
- Administering Vaccines at Community Vaccine Clinics
- Migrant worker health clinics
- Narcan Administration Community Training (heroin/opioid overdose antitode)

While some of these utilize specific education/training/certification they also often require non-such educated people to function and help operate other aspects of the service event.
