I'm having a hard time finding the model number for the 3.2 GHz 2008 Mac Pro, could someone please let me know what it is?

I've managed to find the model number for the 2.8 GHz but no luck for the 3.2, any help on this is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I think you are having difficulties because there was never a retail version of the 2008 3.2, it was only available as a build to order. They have different part numbers.

See here.

 Ahh....you're probably right, so was the 2.8 the top model of 2008?

8-core 2.8 was the base model. they stocked this and the 8-core 3.2 at my local Apple stores, but I'm not sure of the part number. Maybe they were just BTOs ordered by the stores to have on hand?

Pretty much. if the stores get a request for a specific model that's not covered in the retail model, they BTO one. I know the Apple store had mostly 2.8 Mac Pros but they salesperson told me they had 'a few' quad 2.8s and 3.2s in the back. The part numbers for them start with a W or Z sometimes.
