Sorry, I know there are pages and pages of threads regarding the Dell and LG monitors but many have denigrated into discussions about getting them to work in various configurations.

My question is simply which 4k monitor will work at 60Hz with the above mentioned machine. It's time I consider replacing my 23" (1200*1920) CFT Cinema HD Display after all. I can only put it so far away that I don't notice all the pixels.

I have two of and recommend the Dell P2715Q.

One of my employees is using a BenQ BL3201PH, and I'm considering firing or reassigning him so I can, um, borrow it.

Both displays are connected to the exact same rMBP, and work flawlessly.

Dell P2415Q for $430-ish on Amazon. Zero config. Didn't flicker when I tested it. SST so not of the "half-panel turning on" business. And since it's smaller, it's higher DPI and more like your 15".

ooooh. I see they might soon release a 27" version too. Mmmm.

I saw that, too - I've bookmarked Benq's website to keep up on that display when it hits the streets. That display does look pretty sweet...
