Hey,
I just installed CoolBook and read some of the threads out there about it. I see some people are going very conservative and some people are going very crazy with it!
I am glad that people are messing with it, but I kind of just want to set it and forget it. So I am wondering if anyone has determined what settings cool it enough so that it doesn't reach 80 degrees while watching Flash movies for more than 5 minutes but at the same time isn't so underclocked that it risks having many stability issues.
I was thinking about notching each voltage down maybe one or two notches, but I wonder what other people's experiences are!
I have had no overheating issues with my MBA in any sense except when watching Flash movies. No Core Shutdowns as far as I can tell (system stays responsive all throughout) but the 6200 rpm fan and 80-85 degree temps are kind of annoying at those times.
