I'm getting an iPad for Christmas and was just curious. I already have an iPhone 4, but I'm wondering what apps the iPad has that I can't get on the phone? I've looked around and can't find any lists.

I just googled iPad app reviews and then got a list of great web sites that review all the best iPad only apps.

That's because they are very far and few between. The exclusive offering for the iPad is slim pickens and basically sucks.

Definitely Flipboard. Great if you're a twitter and/or facebook user. Not just for social updates. If you follow your fav websites on twitter and like them on facebook it's a great way to keep up with news too

I'm really enjoying Aweditorium. Beautiful, fun interface perfect for iPad. I believe it's one of the top free apps in the App Store right now (#4).

That's strange.

Seeing your post above, I just went and downloaded the app, and it won't run.

I tap on the icon, I get a black screen with the Aweditorium title come up in white, and then a second later I'm back at my iPad's desktop.

It just instantly quits.

Just me?

Well, I'd hazard a guess, that it has something to do with this:

WARNING iOS 3.2 users: this update is NOT compatible with iOS 3.2. Please do not download this update unless you are on iOS 4.2. We have submitted another update to correct this issue and have escalated it with Apple.

Ah, well you may well be right.

I did not get the chance to update it. I just downloaded the app.

So I assume the app on the marketplace IS the updated one then.
