What are the best settings for the Magic Mouse and what are some tips to make it easier to use?

I bought a black Magic Mouse awhile ago. I love how it looks and the gestures are amazing. But I don't like how it moves the cursor, if that makes sense. It's not that great to use. I have the tracking speed set to fastest and I am using a mouse pad
