What are the chances someone will make an app to make ATV2 compatible with DVI?

Can't you just buy a HDMI-DVI adapter...I use one on an older Panasonic plasma...

Are you saying the dvi port isn't HDCP capable? If so, I think you are out of luck.
If your TV supports HDCP over its DVI port, just get an adapter and everything will be fine. However, DVI only carries video so you'll have to use the ATV2's optical port for audio.
If it does not, you are out of luck. I doubt Apple will remove HDCP in near-future ATV models. Your only hope at this point is if a jailbreak removes the DRM.
