I'm just wondering if there have ever been changes from a GM to a final release. Is that even possible?:apple:

0% chance.

Doesn't mean there won't be another update in a week or so but GM = Release.

Not always.

Apple has released a different build a few times, usually when they have found a serious problem in the GM.

Assuming that the iOS 6.0 GM is acceptable to Apple, it'll be the exact same build released tomorrow.

Apple has made changes to the final built. IOS 5.1.1 GM was changed/different then final Built, thus leading Apple to make bug fixes to IOS 5.1.1.
