What are the chances of going to my local Apple Store (Tulsa, Ok), tomorrow morning around 8AM (they open at 10) and being able to walk out with a iPhone 6+ (at this point don't really care what color!)..!!

Tired of waiting on ATT to ship me mine even though I ordered at 2:30AM on the 12th

It won't let me do ATT Next for Instore Pickup :(

I think I read in another thread that you can pre-order on the Apple site, choose the new 2-year commitment and then when you get to the Apple store tell them you've decided to go with the NEXT upgrade instead.

All of us are here for the plus.... And the people next to me are talking American politics and religion!

Fun fact the security guard at the mall threatened to kick us out if we didn't stand. He won't let us sit on the floor...........

I'll bet he has a good reason, like because he can.

I tried this and as it will work it takes quite a bit of time.
Apple had to finish the purchase as an upgrade. Then return the order and then re-do the purchase through NEXT.
Only problem was the time between finalizing the initial order and returning was 4-5+ hours. The phone kept coming up as ineligible for return.
I had to go back the next day and "return the phone" then repurchase through NEXT.

Both Apple and ATT honor the 14 day return policy, so you can purchase under the 2 yr contract upgrade and still have 13 more days to come back and make changes to the phone or the contract.

At least this is how it was described to me by the Apple associate and the on-site ATT rep during launch weekend.

6 are easier to get I think. When I went to exchange my + for the 6, they were out of the 64GB At&T but they had a 124GB model. Of course, YMMV.
