What are the chances?...

...of Apple updating it's line of MacBooks before the Holiday season? Are we looking at less than 1200 for a basic model like we are now? or more?

I've lost track of how many times this question has been asked.

Nobody knows when new MacBooks are coming. Just look at how many times they've been rumored already, and they're still not here. Some people say next week, some say not until next year. Bottom line is that nobody knows.

Regardless of when they come, I'd expect them to be at essentially the same price points.

Normally Apple prices them the same unless there is a dramatic improvement. As to when they come out? It's called the Future.
