What are the chances of all the iPhone 3G buyers being able to upgrade to the new iPhone that comes out this summer.. and when I say upgrade I mean subsidized pricing?

I hope so.. If Apple and ATT work this out the 3rd Gen iPhone will be even a bigger hit!

They did it last year... and a lot of us were only 1 year into their contract.

Don't see why they wouldn't do it again.

Last year is different though... All first gen iPhones were bought at full price there was no subsidy from ATT like there is on the 3G

to the new iPhone that comes out this summer..

Just a small point! Who said there is going to be a new iPhone this summer? :)

New operating system, yes, but new 'phone - highly unlikely I would have thought!

Chances are cause I wear a silly grin
The moment you come into view
Chances are you think that I'm in love with you

Just because my composure sort of slips
The moment that your lips meet mine
Chances are you think my heart's your Valentine

In the magic of moonlight
When I sigh, "Hold me close, dear"
Chances are you believe the stars
That fill the skies are in my eyes

Guess you feel you'll always be
The one and only one for me
And if you think you could
Well, chances are your chances are awfully good

The chances are your chances are awfully good

Do we really need another one of this threads???

Nobody knows. Most likely you will not be able to upgrade if you own a 3G iPhone in you have a 2 year contract. The first iPhone was different because it was unsubsidized.
