iPod touch What are the CHEAPEST WM5/WM6 3G phones to teather to an iPod Touch?

We should compile a list of 3G WM5/WM6 (Windows Mobile) phones that will allow you to teather your iPod Touch so you can use 3G.

If you post any make sure you specify if they WORK, DO NOT WORK, or Haven't tested.

I really want to buy an iPod Touch but I have an old Motorola v551 that doesn't use Windows Mobile, so I need a cheap 3G compatible phone (3G is supported in my area) that will WORK with the teathering method.

This would be a great thread for others to reference as well.

Trust me, I don't like Windows.

However, you missed the point of my post... You can TEATHER an iPod Touch to a 3G phone as long as its a WM5 or WM6 phone. That way you can use the 3G network (super fast compared to edge) on your iPod Touch.

I think he means, connect via wifi to your phone, then surf email etc using your gsm/3g/edge connection, thus truly mobile!!

Hmm, can you actually do that with the Touch? That's a good idea actually, at least until the next iteration of the iPhone comes out with it's own 3G and whatever other features they decide to add. Then the only thing between me and an iPhone are the contracts.
