MP 1,1-5,1 What are the differences bt. the MacPro cases/housings?

Hi there,

is there a difference between the tower cases of the Mac Pro 1.1 - 5.1?
Especially I need to know if the 3.1 case differs from the others, in mounting holes etc...

Or can I swap 1:1 an eg 2.1 case or 4.1 case with my damaged 3.1 one?

If you used the search, you would find easily that are 3 different non-interchangeble models:

MP1,1 = MP2,1
MP3,1 unique
MP4,1 = MP5,1

With lots of modifications you can fit MP1,1/2,1 hardware into a MP3,1 case or the reverse. It's not possible to use earlier cases for MP4,1/MP5,1 or the reverse.
