After the rumor about killing off the iPod classic, I think there's a chance we could see bigger storage options for the iPhone or at least iPod touch.

At least 16 GB and 32 GB. We know that for sure. I honestly doubt they'll include higher, as it would drive the cost up too much.

The 64GB iPad 2 and 64GB iPod Touch are only $100 more than the 32GB models. I would pay $100 more for the 64GB model if there was one. I am sure many others would too.

I think what he meant was that it would drive the cost for apple too high. They probably make the highest profit off the lower 16gb models than the 64gb models.

also, as mentioned above, icloud. If they allow 64 or more gb of storage, the paid icloud options would not make them as much profit.

The iPad 2 and Touch have more room for flash modules. The iPhone just has one, so it would need a single 64 GB module which are probably still too expensive.

iCloud has nothing to do with it. It's not a streaming service.

itll def stay at 16 and 32 as they want to push the cloud service heavy

5GB of cloud service does not replace an extra 32GB on-board storage. If they stay at 32, it would be because of iCloud. Now, give me 200GB of cloud storage and we have a different situation.

I (personally) do hope for 64GB versions available and or higher. Thats in my own little world, don't hate me wanting something !

What good is 200GB cloud storage if you can only acess 2GB's of it per month? And then get either charged $10 per additional GB used or if on unlimited data plan get throttled to Edge speeds.
Sucks:(
