Middle of nowhere
Could be hardware or software, doesn't matter. I'm just curious how people rank the improvements in order of importance to them.

1. Battery life increased to 8 hours internet usage
2. Safari full screen (for more viewing area in landscape)
3. Longer screen (for bigger text in landscape)
4. LTE
5. Thinner lighter design

I use my phone alot so battery life and internet experience is always really high priorities. LTE would be up higher (#2) if it was more widespread on AT&T like it will be in the next year. The thinner lighter design feels amazing to hold.

1) LTE speeds are amazing

2) It's faster loading apps and doing stuff

3) Screen isn't just bigger; it's clearer, seems to have more color depth

4) Map experience has been better for me, YMMV

5) It's thinner *and* lighter

Bonus) Panoramic photos

Replacing my iP4.

Top 5:
1. Camera
2. Built
3. Form Factor, Size & Weight
4. LTE
5. Overall Performance

Honorable Mention:
Battery Life
Passbook
Siri
...

Coming from a 3GS:

1. Everything.

Kidding...but really.

1. Speed
2. Retina Screen/Camera (tie)
3. LTE/HSPA
4. Hardware Design
5. Built-In GPS
