I'm primarily interested in:

1. How many watts it can handle when charging
2. What data transfer rate(s) are supported
3. If it can carry alt mode signals, e.g. DP

This 1-metre charge cable is made with a woven design — with USB-C connectors on both ends — and is ideal for charging, syncing and transferring data between USB-C devices. It supports charging of up to 60 watts and transfers data at USB 2 rates. Pair the USB-C Charge Cable with a compatible USB-C power adapter to conveniently charge your devices from a power point and take advantage of fast-charging capabilities. USB-C power adapters sold separately.

Pretty much as per the first reply - and no, you won't get DP out of it. It's a charge cable, not intended to be used for display or other high speed data transfer.

Speaking from personal experience -if you want to do display port over type C - buy a reputable brand type C thunderbolt cable.

High res/high refresh displays need high bandwidth just like thunderbolt does - and thunderbolt certification will guarantee that your cable is capable of running at speed X which will correlate with DisplayPort resolution Y. People don't realise that "just video" is a big deal these days; good quality HDMI and DP cables aren't cheap because they really are doing a lot at 4k and higher!

see here:

e.g., 4k/120 needs a cable capable of 25 gigabit (i.e., thunderbolt 3 spec). No, a crappy USB C charge cable won't do that - you NEED thunderbolt - or at least a capable of high enough quality that it is capable of thunderbolt bit-rates.

A few months ago I watched a tear down of an Apple Thunderbolt cable and a couple of competitors and the difference was dramatic. If you can buy an Apple cable specifically for data transfer.
