Ireland!
What are these things called "~" and how do i make them on my macbook.

Every day when i access my webspace i need to use that symbol and im sick of googling to try and find that symbol to copy and paste.:confused:

~ means about. You can make them when holding down alt (or option, Apple key or whatever you want to call it) and press ^ button (next to enter)

What layout are you using?

I think most responses so far have failed to recognize you're in Ireland, and that'll have a UK keyboard layout.

Edit: it's hard to see on images online, but it appears to be on the inside of the left Shift key.
