Just curious what web clips everyone is adding to their newly upgraded to 1.1.3 home screens... In anticipation after the firmware leak, I had already prepped my starting list:

Macrumors
TUAW
Movies.app
Bejeweled
IMDB
Netflix at home (RSS)
Netflix queue
Hourly weather for my city
AT&T my account
Beejive IM
Remote Buddy AJAX remote for my Mac Mini

What're you adding?

Only a couple I use anymore, most notably Facebook and PocketTweets. I'm more excited about the SDK coming out next month and seeing a ton of new native apps.

Nice. Does Netflix have a website for iPhone/mobile ?

Not yet, I wish they did!

Indeed they don't, but the RSS feeds aren't bad for checking on what you have at home or is shipping currently. It's less slick for adding to your queue and rating movies, but it's doable. The hacked app is much better for it, so I'm hoping for a native app in a month or so when the SDK is out....

Or maybe we can request to watch movies thru our iPhone.

Ugh, I'll start with being able to watch them on my Macs  I submitted that request to Netflix yet again yesterday after the announcement of no limits on streaming...hoping to help contribute enough complaints that they'll add support for Macs.

Has anyone else noticed that some websites get a proper icon (try the new google iphone page) whereas others get a preview of the page (boring)

Google had a heads up here methinks!

I made an entire page just for web games. It made it feel like we have native games on the phone. I added some news sites and movie showtimes to first page. I moved lesser used icons to second page. I can't wait for the SDK. I'll probably end of with all nine pages used. One page for every category of apps.

I've just got one for Beejive.

I don't want to add too many as the confusion as having too many icons would not make things any quicker to get to.

Google Reader (excellent RSS on iPhone)
Accuweather (iphone)
Weather Underground (iphone)
Some Webcams

I thought about going nuts and adding others, but those are the ones I hit most often on the iPhone. And I moved that annoying itunes icon to it's own page.

netflix has a mobile website. www.netflix.com/mobile

works nice, basic features.

Thanks for that. I didn't know about that...they don't seem to publicize it anywhere. Seems like it has the core functionality to find and add a movie to your queue and swap your queue order around, though no ability to rate movies, read reviews, get recommendations, etc. Not bad for quickly adding something a friend mentions etc. though.

Wiki

I was debating on adding wikipedia. I often run Google searches like "wikipedia some random thing" so I added it for now to see if I use the shortcut. Plus the sphere logo on the main page makes for a nice home screen icon....

Good call on adding Chess. Which site do you prefer? http://ichess.morfik.com/ or http://www.shredderchess.com/iphone/ are the options I came across with a quick perusal of Google.

What games did you add? I'm definitely very excited for the SDK too (was hoping we'd see an early release or a preview app or two from the keynote today...), but this provides some amusement in the meantime and a nice shortcut for things I use often instead of a few taps through my bookmarks all the time.

At least you're honest :p Just imagine what'll be possible when the SDK comes out...

Does anyone know of any other sites that have a nice icon like the google website has? Or is that the only one for now?
