What is everyone doing this summer?

I'm graduating from high school. I really want to get an internship with a tech company for the summer (ideally something like green tech) but don't really have any idea how to start looking.

2 sets of exams - one in May and one in August :(

I have to pass the first to be eligible for the second, and have to pass the second to get into the final year of my course, so not much fun for me. The econd set of exams covers a number of subjects I've done over the last 2 years.

I am going to Bilbao the day after the first set of exams for a few days :)

i'll be working, like i do every summer.

enjoy "summer" as you know it while you still can! :)

really, though...i'll be tending to our veggie garden, working on the house, and possibly visiting my best friend in florida. i'm probably going to accompany the husband when he goes to do photography at local equestrian shows, as well. other than that, it's business as usual!

Taking a position in a lab working on new research on Alzheimer's Disease, which will take up most of my days (and nights!).

Going to USA for two weeks with my gf.

Taking my photography up a notch in my free time (if any).

David

Im going to go back home for a few weeks. Originally from SC, and havent been home for darn near a decade or so. Im really excited to see my family and friends again. Im sure the town has changes dramatically, but it will always be home. Time to get my southern accent tuned up...:)

Besides work, which occupies most of the summer, I'll visit my best friend and parents in the US for about 3 weeks, and probably spend a couple long weekends at our house in Sweden, if I can swing it.

It's not so bad working here in the summer, we've got daylight more or less round the clock, and nice weather. :)

Go to Canada and have my friend do a makeover on me.
Move the rest of the school to OS X. Moved 150 last year, doing another 150 this year. Add 3 Xserve because one isnt just enough.
Go to Summer School from July to middle September.

finding a job, preferably as an intern somewhere... anywhere...

but honestly much more importantly in my mind spending as much time as humanly possible with my girlfriend... the last time I saw her was early January, getting back early-mid May, depending on how well our crew team does.

Hopefully getting a job as a lot attendant at my local Chevy or Saturn dealership. If I get the Chevy one I will be driving around Lotus's since they're also a Lotus dealership. It may just be on the lot, but I am still driving a Lotus at 17. :p On July 11th, going on a cruise in Europe starting in Copenhagen, Denmark, Stockholm, Sweden, Helsinki, Finland, St.Petersburg, Russia, Berlin, Germany, Tallin, Estonia, Gdansk, Poland, and Helsingor, Denmark. I can't wait. :)
