I'm thankful for being able to have a nice place to live and have a warm, loving family. :)

What are you thankful for?
 
wow when I read this thread title I was going to say family too.
its true though. I live in a good house, good family (barring my brother, but thats another story), good lotsa stuff.
 
thankful for my special friend.

Thankful that i am alive even if my Quality of life is about zero, which it has been this entire week.

Thankful for my family.
 
I'll echo most of the previous posters; thankful for my family. Thankful for my wonderful boyfriend. Thankful that I have relatively good health. Thankful that I don't really have to worry about life essentials and even a good chunk of 'wants'. :eek:

Thankful that music and art still touches me.

Thankful that I can emote.

look at the bright sides of things.

Like i do with my health. Sure it is the worst it has been since i have gotten my illness and i am getting more Symptoms like eyesight impairment and loss of balance but i continue to be hopeful that my doctors will find out what is causing it and will fix it.

Even if i have talked with over 15 doctors between my local hospital and Boston and none have any clue at all. I know something will be found out.

Just look at the brightsid and everything will be better.

What about those geniuses that put a little bit of alchohol and a paper napkin in a foil packet.

Without those wipes a BBQ dinner would really be a messy disaster.
 
I'm thankful that my mother is being so supportive of my vegetarianism.
She got me tofurky. (I've never had it before.. the wild rice stuffing on the inside is good, but the tofurky itself is DISGUSTING! Never again! I'm glad I roasted lots of veggies with it!)

I'm thankful that at school the symphony director is so understanding and hasn't kicked me out of the school because of my constant injury.

For my family, and wonderful nephew. (Today's his third birthday!)

For my friends. I love them. They put up with my nerdiness.

For music. It's gotten me through some pretty hard times. Mendelssohn, De Falla, Ben Folds, The Beatles..

For all the opportunities I have. Right now, I'm at the cusp of the rest of my life and it looks pretty good. I can go to any college I want, have a pretty sweet GPA, and I'm really motivated to get my degrees in Economics and (maybe) global energy management. Rock!

also, I want to give a big "thank you" to all the mods here. You keep this place ticking and awesome. You've fostered my nerdiness. :D
 
I'm thankful I'm not dead.

Put a little more cheerfully, I'm thankful to be alive! Woohoo...!
 
I'm thankful for all the bad stuff in my past, that has taught me there is no such thing as bad stuff, I never died from 1 relationship breakup, I never died from starvation when I had no job, hey I guess I'm glad I'm alive and all is good! Even the bad stuff kicks ass!

/me hands out crackers to go with his cheese!
