What have you been waiting for?

A redesign for the MacBook Pro.

How long have you been waiting for it?

Since July of 2007 when I heard about the possibility of a release at Macworld 2008.

When do you expect it will come out?

An update in within a few weeks. A redesign in June.

How long are you prepared to wait?

Late-August of 2008. Then I'm buying whatever MacBook Pro is available.

-A redesign for the MacBook Pro. (12"MBP, but I gave up on that last month)

How long have you been waiting for it?

For about 2 months. (the 12"MBP for years!)

When do you expect it will come out?

Tomorrow or Tuesday. (12"MBP, Never!)

How long are you prepared to wait?

I have the cash now... I will end up spending it on a Time Capsule and an Airport Extreme if it isn't released in the next few weeks.

30-40gig ipod touch (and my 5th gen ipod to break so i have the excuse to buy it)

Since ipod touch came out

on a reply to previous poster...isnt time capsule an airport extreme with a hard drive built in?? i thought it backed up using time machine AND managed your wireless network?? Why buy both?

Since the ultraportable rumors started.

Not any time soon.

1. A desktop Apple in the 'pro' workstation category which is actually worthy of being called a 'pro' workstation instead of merely looking like one.
2. A portable 'pro' rated Apple which is actually built to the levels that the price tag and nomenclature depicts.

Until we've ported away all of our OS X apps.

Probably never, G5 powermacs had proven obsolete by the time they were not a complete ripoff used. Mac Pros might however..

Since 2005, but there's always been calls on my finances/time to make it impossible or impractical (or both). I nearly bought one last year, but she who must be obeyed said no.

When do you expect it will come out?

It's been out since 2002, with a few tweaks here and there since then. A totally new model is rumoured, possibly next year, but I like the current one.

How long are you prepared to wait?

I was about to take the plunge, but it looks like I'll be waiting another few months now. Hopefully April/May 2008.

February 2009, if it doesn't happen at a reasonable price point I will get a 15" mbp to replace my white macbook.

dude, man united won the treble in 1999 (remember the old gunner solskjaer last minute winner in barcelona?) but hopefully this year again!

Since last year when I was told I could have one (I was shocked)

Hopefully as the last update of MBPs of this year, september-ish (and when BD is officially called the winner format)

Tuesday 5th, then i'm buying MacPro with 23" or 30" Cinema Display! If the MBP comes out whilst the MP is on order i'll cancel and order the MBP.

Macbook Pro since July 07. Air since I figured out a 17" is over kill for taking notes.

Pro update in within a few weeks.
Air instock this week or next.

As long as I need to. Till then, the 17" Core Duo is fine.
