mine are set to 500 cals Move, 12 hrs Stand and 20 mins Exercise. It seems you can only change the Move goal. Is that right, or do the other two vary?

Exercise I thought was set to the international 30 mins?
Other than that I'm at 740 calories and 12 hours stand.

800 calories but i managed to burn 1800+ today! I really love the activity app!

What is a good goal for someone who has done very sporadic exercise for the past year or two? I'm currently nursing an ankle injury from a softball game but I would like to take advantage of my fascination with the new watch by starting up a routine again.

Thanks. My calorie goal was set to 470 calories. I upped it to 800. Apparently I move more than I thought?

Wow. For me, I burn about 450 calories in 90 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise (heart rate 140 to 170) plus maybe another 150 over the course of the day.

that can't be right. I'm burning around 320 in 40 minutes on a incline treadmill at 3.5 mph at incline.

Yeah, that 800 isn't me working out. That's just how much I walk everyday.

How much you burn depends on your size and age as well as your workout time and intensity. I'm a small, middle-aged woman.

Can you set mileage and step goals with the watch?

No.

What are the default goals?

I think it personalises the default goals, depending on your age, weight, height and activity level.

No, if you don't set height weight age etc....it gives you a breakdown of general calories (light was 300 I think, moderate was 600, etc....)
