In no particular order, I truly enjoyed:
  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Ico
  • God of War
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Got ico and vice city

Silent hill2 on the way:)

Complete black label for $25 woo

Silent Hill 2. It actually gave me nightmares the first time I played it.

I vaguely recall silent hill 2 not getting a Ton of love from critics when it came out but now people say it’s amazing and held up very well

Funny how things are received sometimes

I am on the hunt for Silent Hill 2 - one of the best games ever made, get the Directors Cut for PS2 if you can, it's got extra content.

My other Favourites and yet to start/beat are:

Aiming for 100% completion on these:
GTA III
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
GTA LCS
GTA VCS

Story completion on these:
Timesplitters Future Perfect
Killzone
XIII
Red Faction 2
Need For Speed Underground 1
Need For Speed Underground 2 (slow load times but worth it)
Half-Life
Max Payne
Black
Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Medal Of Honor Frontline
Medal Of Honor Rising Sun (slow load times but great game)

I am trying to spend less time on the web so playing an offline console like PS2 does me good.

My Favorites are below, but I played many games on the PS2, which I still own a V7 with hdd

God of war
Spinter cell games
Max Payne
Silent Hill games
Outlaw Tennis
Final Fantasy
Outlaw Volleyball
Kingdom Hearts

GTA3 (Yes, I had more fun with this one than Vice City and San Andreas)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
Shadow of the Colossus
Resident Evil 4
Silent Hill 2
Burnout 3: Takedown

I can't remember when was the last time I played using PS2, but here are some of my favorites:

Tekken 5
God of War
The Sims 2
Silent Hill 2
Resident Evil 4

All the GTAs

Red Faction 1 and 2

Ape Escape (might have been ps1, too lazy to google)

Syphon Filter 1 and 2 (more than certain that was ps1 but still fun)

Funny thing is, loved my ps1 and ps2. I moved away from it because I got into Halo and have been with xbox ever since.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of my favorite games from that generation, and my favorite from the PS2. (Apparently the PS4 port is worth a look, according to DigitalFoundry).

Okami is a close second.

I never had a PS2, but i picked them up for the PS3.
