Finally I have arrived.....
New year's resolutions become such a cliché; but, many people still do for the sake of making a fresh start in a new year.
Mines are:
1. aim for career advancement (if not at my current job, ditch it and move on to the greener pasture) with more money.
2. get more money (natural progression from #1); Oh, I already said that in #1.
3. set up a biatching Mac system with a new MacPro, and an additional 23" ACD or a 30" ACD.
4. reposition my portfolios to consolidate duplicate investment accounts (to earn more money)
5. make a decision if I am staying in the East Coast of USA or moving out to other countries
6. after making a decision on #5, take a 2-week long vacation where I don't have to reply to an email or answer a call via cell phone.

I have more. But, #1 and #2 would take up too much of my time for anything else. I wish I could have 30 hours a day.

1. Drink less Diet Pepsi
2. To keep a mac for one full year
3. To not be so tough on my kiddos. I am pretty strict and I want to be, but I want to loosen up some and let them be kids.

Lose even more weight than I did in 2006...ok I'd be dead, but lose more weight.
Keep my job (out sourcing is doing damage and I may not have a job come 1-2-2007...or 2-1, 3-1, or 4-2, you get the point. Every 30 days someone is let go, I'm sure to be next but when one door closes another opens.
Stop worrying so much about what negative people say to me. Things have happened where I didn't do a thing but suddenly I'm the bad person. I'm trying to be a duck and let things roll off my back more.

  1. Make some friends
  2. Do well in my studies (Not that I am not already but I have to keep it up)
  3. Try to stick with my job
  4. Don't spend the money I earn from said job
  5. Break #4 just to get an ultraportable macbook ;)
  6. Do some muscle building
  7. As a consiquence of all of the above BE HAPPIER
I can't think of any others, but I will add to the list if I do :p

I learned last year that I do better when I have quantifiable goals. With that in mind, here are mine for calendar year 2007:

  1. I will read 12 more books, one for every month (just like last year).
  2. I will run 400 miles, or about 1.1 miles per day (or 1.5 for every weekday).
  3. I will learn to cook 6 new dishes, or one every two months.
  4. I will own one place of residence, or exactly one per year. :)
  5. I will, at some point during the year, weigh 160 lbs. or less on the scale in my bathroom (which is about 13 pounds less than I weigh right now). (I could use a little less stress on my two surgically-repaired knees.)

1. Get back in shape, lose weight, gain muscle mass, etc.
2. Learn German (the Rosetta Stone disks have been collecting dust)
3. Go back to London (study abroad)

My New Years Resolutions

1. Do Better in school to earn my Mini
2.Do Good on the Science Olympiad
3.Get an External HD for my Mini
4.Lose at least 6 lbs,pref 10lbs.
5.Many more... :p
