I have a late 2016 12 Macbook. I've used it to work every day for a year, and now Iwant to move on to an external display so I don't suffer so much eye strain.

What do you recommend / have experience with? I want a really good display but I don't need it to watch movies etc, it has to be USBC, but not the ones that charge the computer or anything, as I don't want my battery to be constantly charging if I have to use it for a long time.

Just to give you an idea, I work with support tickets, and different various schematics, so I need something maybe large with lots of detail, but still easy to read if I want to browse some news and facebook.

This screen will be on a desktop like this:

With some more depth and length to house the external display (I will use the same size as the furniture that stands my 50" tv, just taller).

Thanks for any input!
