Looking into returning my macbook pro and picking up a new 27 inch apple display to run with my 21.5 2011 core i5 imac. Do you guys this well work out fine? As I'm always working from home.

I'm not sure what your computing needs are, but I would not do it unless you have something portable that you can take with you just in case something comes up (like an iPad or MBA).

Sure. You don't sound like someone who works much on the go so this setup would be ideal. You may want want to shop around for cheaper deals on that TB display tho.

i'd like to see a picture of the 27" display next to a 21.5" iMac. Does the 27" line up with the 21.5" iMac OK?
