Where do you position it? Middle ?

I put it in between where I naturally hold the phone and rest my fingers (leftie so just barely Southwest of the Apple logo touching it)

Pretty much where I put it. I've seen some people with two so they can wrap their earbud cord around them.

Kinda hard to photograph, but here's one of mine.

I can see the appeal but will probably never use one personally.

Once I realized I couldn't wireless charge my phone with the pop socket, I decided against it.

Sometimes I'll put the pop on a thin silicon case, and just remove the case at night.

Can u swap the pop socket a ton with cases and the adhesive remains? I’ve done it a couple times now but Just curios

Seems like a strong adhesive

I like the idea of pop sockets, but I just hate that they are cheap plastic pieces. If they were something more substantial that looked higher quality than maybe. I have previously bought several metal rings for my phone that could also be used as a stand, but eventually they either got loose, wore away, just made it more difficult to have the phone lay flat so now I've gone without. I use a regular holder in my car and don't really have any need to prop up my phone that much, so I'm ok without any.

Not a fan here, as it gets in a way when I need to place it on my inductive charing pad. To each their own I guess.

Most of them have really strong/reusable adhesive. I haven't worn one out yet. I have, however, started buying them in bulk (mostly so I can customize them), because they cost about a dollar that way. I hate spending $10 or more on these cheap little things.

I waited a long time to get one but now that I have one I have no intention of going without. The main benefit for me is the ability to hold the phone more steadily and take easy one handed photos. I can even flip the phone upside down for a low angle shot and hit the camera button with my thumb.

The wireless charging is a pain so is car mounting but hopefully there will be a way around those issues beyond attaching it to an easy to put on and take off case.

they don't look great, but the feel is the greatest/only appeal? and being a usable stand at times

has anyone tried the car vent mount?

I use the stand feature sometimes at work and customized it with a sticker of my dogs so I don't hate the appearance. I also like that when I just put my phone down it rests off the surface.

I have not tried their car mount, I use a magnetic mount that's served me well for years.

I have big hands. But I use a pop socket and I like it. Gives me more security when I want to use the phone one handed (7 Plus). Jagermeister logo on mine so it doesn't look too bland lol
