So I'm pretty obsessed with play counts on iTunes, and now that it syncs across all my devices whenever I play music it has become that much more of an obsession.

I have ~15k songs, most of them played at least once, and my 100th most played song has a play count of 29, so I listen to a pretty diverse mix of music.

I don't know why, but I too am a fan of these posts and music listening statistics in general. Having a large library (15k titles) tends to slow you down in terms of breadth, but these threads have tended to show an interesting snapshot in time look at listening habits. Here's the previous threads (archived now):

Most Played Songs (Starting 2003)

The all new Most Played Song(s) thread. (Starting 2008)

Right now I'm contemplating resetting all play-listens back to zero, but I'm not sure. Do I really want to just delete all this data? Would it make a bit of difference?
