Now that we all know the coveted iPhone 5 is a dream of the past, what will you guys be doing? I just bought an iPhone 4 on eBay and listed my 3GS tonight following the grim news. I am interested to see what others are interested in doing.

Where is the "basic phone to iPhone 4S" option? Because that is what I am doing haha.

Before I make any move I'm gonna see what happens at the Nexus Prime event Oct 11th. Want to make sure I know all my options before choosing a phone...

The Nexus Prime looks like it will be a great phone, but I don't want a behemoth screen.

+1 on this. Even though I don't want it, I am still having trouble resisting the iPhone 4s though.

My plans have not changed.

After years of buying excellent Apple computers, & decent iPhones, I was shocked to get burned in the Antennagate debacle. Therefore I had already decided it would most likely take Apple well over a year to get back on track.

I never imagined they'd cling to the external antenna, only to make it more complex and vulnerable.

The iPhone 6 is the one I had planned on next, but after today I question Apples decision making process. Nonetheless, Apple has cultivated a vast user base that doesn't care about anything other than being seen with the newest Apple device.

Apple knows they can unload anything they build in quantities so large they can laugh all the way to the bank.

I currently have a 3GS. For me, the greatest factor, in deciding whether or not I should upgrade, is not the features or look of the 4S. It's the fact that I bought an iPad2 a few months back, and I'm using the iPad2 a lot more than the 3GS. My iPhone has become secondary, and, while I do use it, I use it a whole lot less than I used to. With iOS5, I could probably go another year until the next iPhone comes out. Still, it would be nice to have a better antenna, better battery life (compared to the 3GS), and better camera, and so I haven't quite decided. However, if I upgrade, it'll definitely be to the 64GB 4S.
