I recently got a Dell laptop with Bluetooth, and I figured Bluetooth would be a convenient way to exchange data. However, when I try to browse the PC from my PowerBook, OS X says the device doesn't support the necessary services. And when trying to send a file from the PC, Windows says the transfer was unsuccessful because the receiving Bluetooth computer did not respond.

They are paired properly, and the PC is listed as a Favorite in the Bluetooth preference pane. I'm assuming that the OBEX Push service must be supported, since I can push files to my Motorola V3.

Also, the BT adapter on my PC has a "Join Personal Area Network" option; but it reports my PowerBook doesn't support personal area network services.

Any ideas? I am using a 17" PowerBook 1.67 GHz with the new Bluetooth 2.0.
