I want to use a Bluetooth speaker for my rMBP 13" I'm looking for opinions from my fellow MacRumors community.

I'd like to keep it at $100 or less.

I normally use Marantz AVR + Polkaudio speaker system via airplay in lounge. But i just have bought JBL go mini bluetooth speaker for my bathroom. it has clear sound and i actually liked it although had some doubt before get it.

My goal is minimize the platform on my desk and to eliminate wires. I assumed Bluetooth speakers would be a good alternative.

If you are not too strict on your 100 bucks or less, I would highly recommend a Bose SoundLink 2, they are one generation old and can be had for about $130-150 USD (down from about 250-350 originally). Or even the original logitech UE Boom, also one generation old and attainable from $120-140 USD.

Do not even try with the Beats pills, nor the Jawbone Jambox mini, their sound is not worthy of the 30-40 bucks you'll save.

Also look at Bose SoundLink Color - C$129 so sure you can buy in US at about $100
By far the best sound/value of the many bluetooth speakers I have tried.
