I own a Leatherman Charge TTI, leather sheath and the bit kit.

I have always used a leatherman and IMO its the best company for multitools.

What does everyone else use/prefer.

A ten pound mallet with a roll of duct tape conveniently stored on the handle works for me.

I've got a Victorinox Swiss Tool but i don't carry it around with me (It's too big). DO most of you carry your leatherman's or other multitools on your person at all times?

I have a couple of multitools, but I end up not using them much. Prefer not to have my pockets bulging out.

Laws on carrying knives in the UK make it rather illegal to carry anything with a useful blade unless it's for work purposes and you are on your direct way to and from work.

In the end, I find I prefer to use a proper screwdriver, proper pliers, proper stanley knife, proper hacksaw etc for doing jobs, rather than some little 2inch folding version that collapses when I try doing something real with it.

Leatherman for sure. I have a Super Tool 200 (not sold anymore) and I don't carry mine on me but I do when I'm working on a project. There's nothing as useful as having pliers, a knife and flat and philips head screw drivers all on the same tool. Perfectly useful.

I've got a Leatherman Wave (bought it when it was still the new uber-spiffy model at $90  ). It could use some cleaning and Lubing™, but the time will come.
Usually when I carry a knife on me (which is rare), it's my Gerber 3" folder, or my Kershaw Ken Onion Leek, which I lost a few years ago. :( Perfect knife for carrying on an everyday basis, less than 1/4" thick.

I used to swear by Leatherman, then i tried out a Gerber and was sold. Gerber is by far the better of the two. The build quality and features of the gerber way excelled the Leatherman.
