What brand of RAM to buy?

I have the most recent MBP 15in i5 with 4GB which is recently too little RAM to work with.

Which brand is *guaranteed* to work with my MBP?

I bought Crucial Ram, haven't had any problems whatsoever....

OWC remains ever popular. I've always had solid performance and compatibility with Mushkin.

I find RAM branding to be almost irrelevant since most modules are manufactured by Infineon, Samsung, Kingston, etc., and you don't really know which manufacturer you're going to get when buying "Crucial," "OCZ," etc..

Crucial and OWC seem to be the favorites with Macs. The least favorite may be OCZ. But of course almost any brand is fine.
