what can i do with a bare 15in lcd?

so i was going to swap out my lcd in my unibody since i burned it slightly with a candle along with a swap out of my broken glass panel (doing both is "cheaper")...but since the lcd is till in usable condition, i wonder if anyone out there has made an external monitor out of it or other projects out of something similar?

hmm i guess no one knows huh.

basically looking for a lcd flex connector to miniport or dvi or whatever common adapter. i wonder if there is anything like that out there.

There isn't anything that I have heard of, but I do have to ask, how dod you burn your screen with a candle?
