What can I do with a spare Macbook screen?

After a botched repairjob, I have a spare Macbook screen with scratches in it. It works fine, but it's not worth anything, so I thought I might have some fun with it.
Is there any way I can connect it to a normal DVI or VGA port on my server? That way I could tape it to the side of the case and not have to drag my normal screen into the wardrobe every time I have a problem with it.

OP I like your idea but I wouldn't know how to make the connections. It has to be possible.
