I just wondering because I have 3 months left until expiration of AppleCare. Since I bought it, I have not used for anything. Give me advices. Thanks.

AppleCare is to replace your phone if it breaks...

Is your phone currently broken?

from a manufacturer defect. applecare does not cover accidental damage; that's what applecare+ is for.

Yep, this is true.

This has got me thinking about people with Applecare plus on their 4S. If you have the phone 18 months or so, it's probably in your best interest to just intentionally break the front or back glass and go in and get a replacement for $49 plus tax. It will certainly help with resale value and could extend the time you keep your phone if you don't want to get the new version.
