What can I do with my old iPhone?

I have a broken screen iPhone 3G that was bought in September 2008. It out of warranty of course but what should I do with it? Get it fixed? New battery? Sell it FWIW?

Fix it and sell it.

For the 3G you can get the parts to fix on ebay for only a few $. For the price it doesn't make sense not to. And the 3G is easy to swap so it's not a big project.
