I am considering .Mac for hosting a website. It won't be anything too flash. Besides the photo album (which I'll use for my cartoons) I want to be able to put in links to my MacIdol page and my Konfabulator page, and I want child pages for things like my writing.

Is this possible with .Mac?

Anyone here got some examples i can go see?

Or suggest an alternative.

thanks

It is like any other website

You can use the iPhoto and iMovie export templates to put things on your website like it sounds like you are going to do with your pictures. But you can also use an html editor, Dreamweaver or your favorite editor, and make your website, then post it. You have, I believe, 100MB of space to do what you want, as long as it isn't vulger in anyway.

The iPhoto export to website thing is just so people who don't know how to edit html, or don't want to, can put up pictures quickly and easily. And they look nice too.

EDIT: There I did a photo album in about 2 minutes with some photos I could find.

My resume place, i edited it so you only get a feel for what you can do with .mac, its not where i have my stuff yet since i'm still in school, and i have a trial version of .mac. Get a trial version, and have fun, see if it is what you want.
