We all obviously would like more stability, speed and battery life. But are there any parts of iOS 8 that you would like to see the design tweaked it a feature changed?

I personally would like a quick way to call a person from inside a messaging thread, as going into details is quite cumbersome.

Is it not beta 1? Cause the version which is up now is a preview?

Stability, speed and better battery life.
And maybe more interesting threads like this one will surface soon enough.

Fix the App Store location bug, icloud drive bugs, camera and photos bugs, and system preferences

Main thing would be comms stability. On my iPad Air, I find networking dying (WiFi particularly; I use cellular much less, so it could be a general TCP/IP problem, or conceivably a WiFi driver issue) quite routinely, with only a restart solving the problem.

Gestures not being reset to "off" after a restart would be a minor plus, but comms stability's easily the most prominent issue for me.

if it does come out tomorrow, are the updates over the air or do you have to DL?

No one knows for sure, but all the beta updates for iOS 6 and 7 were available OTA, so I think it's a pretty safe assumption to think that iOS 8 beta updates will be as well.

Change to the music app
Predictive type improvement (I really enjoy this feature but many errors when using it)
App Store download issues (sometimes the app freeze when trying to download)
Camra/photo bugs fixes

Too many things need to be reset after a reset. For example, my clock app is always on stop watch because I use it to time my beta testing, customer support, etc. But after every reset (and they are happening a lot more with this beta than any other in the past), the clock app opens on world time. Bleh.

Of course, you also have to enter your iCloud ID at least twice per reset. I'm kinda over that. Apple only just fixed that on iOS 7.

home button doesn't work to close apps out all the time ... have to lock and unlock the screen a lot ... just fix that and ill be happy for beta 2

oh yeah ... maybe fix photos and stop erasing my fingerprints.

Stability. It may be one word, but the current seed of iOS 8 needs it the most!

BT improvement for handoffs [ applies to OS X 10.10 DP2 too ]

Battery life could use a boost!

*Hey Siri* available at all times, not just when plugged in.

That's all I could think of right now, although a *stability* fix should include a lot of improvements.

I want to clearly see a group message in quick reply. Also I would like to see a way to turn off quick contacts in mulitasking.

I hope they will finally include iPhone 6 in beta 2.

lol. Update and watch your phone transform into a iPhone 6...

Where is this beta you spoke of?

It's been two weeks. It's coming today or tomorrow.

Sometimes it's 3 or 4.
