What chip shortage?

I ordered a MacBook Pro a few days ago. The 'days' countdown in Deliveries.app is pretty hilarious. I'm not in a rush and don't need a new Mac right now but In 20 years as an Apple customer, I've ordered a LOT of computers and I think this is the longest lead time I've ever seen.

Not complaining, it's just silly to see such a long lead time. Anyone else seeing longer?

I work in the EDU tech sales. 53 days is actually fantastic right now. Apple as a supplier has been one of the better with long lead times. Good luck getting Lenovos/Dells/Surfaces in that time frame. Or Monitors/printers.

That's good to know and an interesting data point. I don't really buy stuff anywhere else and just buy all Apple so I didn't know it was worse at other places. Again, not complaining just thought it was fun to share. I fully expect Apple to beat this estimate as they always give worst-case.
