Many of my users, both Win and Mac, are reporting difficulties seeing these movies:

They play fine on my iMac running 10.4.x, but not on my iBook running 10.3.x. I have QT pro and Flip4Mac installed on both machines. Can anyone help me figure out what codecs are necessary for them to view the movies?

Thanks!

If you are able to view the movies yourself open them up and press CMD I to see what the codecs are

If you haven't any idea which codec it is put up a photo of the information

Thanks, here goes:

Ok, so it seems that the viewers are going to need flip4mac in order to watch these videos

personally I wouldn't have seen Microsoft MPEG-4 V3 as a format to deliver media on the web, unless of course you had no choice in the matter

Thanks. I guess the reason that they weren't working on my iBook with Flip4Mac is that I had an older version. I downloaded the latest version and got it to work.

I didn't produce the videos, just grabbed them from another source. I guess if this happens more often I'll have to pay to get the full version of flip4mac and convert them to QuickTime format.
