I have the Bodyguardz Pure and Spigen Aluminum Home Buttons and plan to install both soon. It is interesting to see everyone say to install the home button first before the screen shield. Any specific reason (like for easier/smoother install) or just personal preference?

For me, the button install wasn't as easy as it looks. I had already installed a GlastR when I decided to add a button. Getting the button set exactly centered & square over the home button was no easy feat with the Glas already there. If I had to pull it back off to re-center it, it was harder with the thickness and close tolerance of the glass in the way around the home button. So when I started over and replaced my GlastR with a pure, I set aluminum button first then set glass afterward and that was still a bit challenging on the button but easier to do it first then afterwards.

I did the button last and I have to agree, it is a mistake. You can take the button off and put it back on several times if you are careful. Alignment was a pain because I could not really see through the Sellotape while aiming for the home button cut-out of the glasstr.

I was thinking of getting a Home button today, but I really want one that mimics the slate color of the black iPhone. Does anyone know of a company that makes something comparable?
