Will be buying this in the new year and am wondering if its worth getting the box or just to stick with the downloadable version.

Does the box contain a decent manual or just the install disc and a quick start guide ?

Thanks

If you really don't want the disks, there is not reason not to just go with the download. I believe, however, if you order the disks then you will also be able to immediately download the files. Therefore I would order the discs.

i was thinking along the lines of it being shipped to Canada and having to pay import at the border. Downloading would seem to be a easier option. i was just curious if there was a nice manual id be missing out on.

Nope,

No hard-copy manual included in the box. Just a DVD-sized cover with the CS3 disc inside that includes a honking big PDF file that is the manual (637 pages ??)

great, so i'll probably just buy the downloadable version and make my own backup of it.

less cardboard to go to the landfill :)
