What configuration you go for and why?

So yeah as title said! What configuration did you go for today and why? I went for 13" 2.6GHz i5/ 256GB/ 16GB because I thought that the RAM was probably needed more and the CPU upgrade would give me the same GPU memory etc as the i7 but obviously not the clock speed

I went for the 13-inch with 2.8 i7/8GB/256GB. My reasoning behind this was that 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD are plenty for my needs, while I think I could sometimes benefit from the i7 processor.

Yeah the decision between RAM and CPU was tough for me! May end up regretting it!!

It was an easy decision for me. I know I definitely won't need 16GB RAM. The only thing I had to think about was whether I really wanted to pay the extra couple hundred for the i7.

I don't do photoshop or anything like that I'm mainly web surfing with loads of tabs, streaming etc and also simple molecular drawing programs which I think are more RAM intensive than CPU
