From time to time, it's said it's not advised to replace the battery on your own, this is totally understandable if you are not a technician or experienced in this area. How about having battery replaced by someone else in small mobile phone shop who advertises this service, rather than Apple's service? What could be the problem? Is the installation of battery for iPhone more complicated than other non-Apple phones so it is often recommended to go for Apple service?

1. It won’t be an Apple blessed battery
2. The Battery Health app may no longer work
3. They may not reseal the iPhone to the original IP68 water resistant specification
4. The replacement 3rd party battery may not be as good as an Apple battery
5. There will be evidence that a 3rd party shop repaired the iPhone so Apple won’t touch it if you need Apple for repairs in the future.

Saying all that, I had the battery in an older iPhone replaced by a mobile iPhone repair service (comes to your house/office) and it’s been fine ever since
